Or at least trying too. I just recently broke up with my boyfriend whom I have been going out with for quite some time now. Im head over heels for him still even after our break up, 5 days ago. Everyone is trying to get me to move on, to date new guys, but its so hard for me to. I am still in love with this kid and he broke up with me because "He doesnt like me as much as he did when we first started dating." So while we were still going out, he didnt talk to me for 4 days because he was apparently thinking if breaking up with me would be the right choice. He had his friend break up with me for him. I cried forever. rolleyes.gif Me and my ex boyfriend are still kind of friends. We'll hang out and talk and stuff. Now I find out one of my best guy friends likes me and well, I like him too. The problem is is that Im still head over heels for my ex. Id really just trying to get over my ex. Any ideas on how to get over him and move on?

it's not really fair to your friend that you "like" him while you're also "head over heels in love" with you ex. you can't have both, you have to pick one.

your ex is an ass, why are you still hung up on him? he doesn't like you anymore and didn't even have the courtesy to break up with you, he had to have his friend do it for him. that's ridiculous and cowardly. is this the kind of guy you want to be with? a cowardly loser?

but like i said, you can't just be all in love with your ex and like your guy friend. how can you treat people like that? especially since he's your best guy friend. you should get over your ex before you jump into any new relationship. if you were going out for quite some time, how can you be all over everything in just 5 (or 6 by now) days? jumping from guy to guy isn't the way to get over someone.
