Woah-Japan has awesome fasion trends. Nope, no royalty walking around New York. I wish there was though. We're stuck with chinese slippers. ![]() actually, new york city is like the fashion capital of the world or one of them. you should look a bit harder. i see interesting fashion choices...well not now because it's cold but when the weather is warmer you'll see it. I think they're trying to imitate Nabokov's character Lolita. Looking innocent but not really inside, in the book, Lolita, a 12 year old girl, fell in love with a man a hell lot older than her...or maybe i'm wrong but it looks like it. really? i only read like the first few pages but the guy i know who read it (and owned the copy i was looking at) told me that it was about me and him at first but then corrected himself by saying, "actually not really, it's about a man who falls in love with a girl who was too young." i remember because it upset me, did he mean that i'm not too young anymore or will he never fall in love with me? ![]() i think that lolita stuff is great for a costume party or halloween...but not average, every day wear...or weekly wear... |
