Tommorow's Ash Wednesday, which marks the start of Lent. One full meal only tommorow, as well as no meat.
I think I'm going to give up computer games and TV. I feel kinda bad because I probably could do better by giving up videogames, but I doubt I'd be able to avoid playing videogames. Giving up meat is also going to be tough as well. Anyone have good suggestions, or is anyone stuck and needs help on what to give up? |

That's what my friend claimed when I mockinly chastised her for eating, and I'd heard it from my grandmother, but I always thought it was for the very young and the very old who had to eat. The other Catholic guy at my table hadn't heard of it either. |
