My IT teacher told us today that the school has decided to giv econsideration to WRITING HOME TO PARENTS about the contents of people's blogs.
wtf? my friend kate and i were about to have afull blown argument with the teacher about it, were it not for rae sitting behind us chanting 'calm'. apparently it is part of their crackdown on bullying. and, because some of the younger students were READING THE BLOGS OF THE OLDER STUDENTS and 'getting ideas' there is a 13 year old prostitute at my school. i think its a bit late to worry about f**king bad influences from older years. *roar of rage* oh. i suppose you can discuss this, to give it some direction. i just wanted the rant |

Yen, don't use "gay" as a derrogatory adjective near James. He bites.
Schools blocking blogs and sending home parents notes about them are entirely different things. My school blocks them all (it's been a while since I last tried to get on, but I heard that even my way of getting on xanga has been blocked now. Pity.) but to write a note home to parents about them is nuts. Like we really need them to get more ridiculous opinions on things. Make the paranoia worse. Yes. Great idea. |
