someone just died and again again again " " " " OH WAIT..RAPE JUST IN (its brutal too!) . . . okay, is it JUST me or is anyone else getting annoyed at all of the news articles being posted in the lounge? i miss the lounge where eveyone has their own opinion and lil something to say besides "ew thats gross!" "wow they should be thrown in jail" "thats stupid and insane and completely idiotic!@!" wut? wut?

The Current Events forum was necessary to throw in all these crappy topics about nothing, but really, I think we should just get rid of these stupid topics about current events, and thereby have no use for a Current Events forum.
Waste of space. It's not like any real discussion is made there. The Debate forum is way more effective in brewing conversation. Current Events was an empty wasteland of spam. And even though the Lounge never had much in-depth discussion anyway, at least we got to know more about people, and get to know them better. The Current Events topics just allow for predictable, impersonal answers. |
