Yes, i think they should... Teens aren't nessecarily mature enough to have a kid if they are, or at least think they are mature enough to have sex. And the majority of those who have abortions are not teenagers... The majority of women who have abortions are in their early 20s.
Anywho. The way it's set up in California is a bit, um, dumb? Well, if you're under the age of 18, and seeking an abortion, then you can get one with the consent of your parents, meaning, all you have to do is notify them, and then you can get an abortion. You DON'T even need your parent's permission. So yeah, i think that's kinda dumb because some girls don't ever let their parents know they had one. But I think that abortion should be an option availible for anyone. |
