Okay. I don't know where to place this, but.. eh. I'll place it here, since it has to do with domains and my hosting.

Someone's going to have to walk me through this, because I am just "WTF"-ing this all.
I was checking my email and I get one from "accounting@mydomain.org". It was some sort of spam, and it was sent to me from some email account that I didn't create. I only have two, one is a nickname and the other is "admin". I checked just now, and that is still true. The email was this: http://img52.imageshack.us/img52/7267/wtfasdfgh7xa.jpg

Help me? I don't know where these emails were sent, or if they were sent somewhere else, and why, but I don't want my domain cancelled or anything.

Someone has probably gained access to the server you are on, created itself an account, and is rapidly sending out emails to you, and possibly others. I suggest that you ontact your hosting provider.

I did that..:). Eugh. I'm just worried I'll get blamed for this.

I bet if you tried to reply it would go no where. They have alot of programs out there that scan sites for email address's and use the findings for spam.

On your site replate the @ sign with [at] on all your email contact links.

Hm. The account doesn't exist, which is probably why it ended up in my inbox. All of the emails that.."bounce" are sent to that email. I don't even have an actual site up, and don't have any contact links anywhere. But, if I do end up having contact links, I'll make sure to do that.

Any more theories? I just.. find this odd. I contacted my host.. but it'll take some time to get a reply.

Eh. I got a reply, but am too lazy to get more answers.
I think I'm done, so I'll close this.
