Okay so I like this guy and this guy likes me. We don't want to be boyfriend and girlfriend however because we both change when in a relationship (we've gone out before) and he doesn't want to hurt me. We both want to kiss eachother but we keep chickening out. Well last night me and a bunch of friends (and him) were hanging out in my basement in the dark and I'd lay down and he'd be right there and he'd almost kiss me but I'd turn my head or make up some lame excuse. I want to kiss him but I just keep chickening out. Anyone have any advice for me?

i think you need to sort out your feelings and figure out what you really want. you're probably turning away because you don't want to let the relationship get any deeper because you're afraid that it will mess up again.
it sounds like you kind of do want more but you're just afraid to take the risk again. or maybe you just want the friends with benefits thing because that's the only "problem free" solution where you can have him but not "change" because it's not a real relationship. |
