I didn't really know what genres these bands would fit in, but I guess it would be punk. Is anyone a fan of the Descendents, Propagandhi, or Leftover Crack?

I didn't really know what genres these bands would fit in, but I guess it would be punk. Is anyone a fan of the Descendents, Propagandhi, or Leftover Crack? I am a fan of all three of those bands. Leftover Crack being my favorite of the three, and Propagandhi my least favorite. Leftover Crack is "Crack Rock Steady." A healthy mix of Ska, Afro Ska, Crust Punk, Death Metal, Hardcore, and Crust Punk. Mostly Ska & Punk. If you like them, take a look at their roots. Most of the members previously operated in the band Cocking Victim. Although their recording quality in Leftover Crack is far superior, I prefer most of the Choking Victim tracks over Leftover Crack tunes. The Descendents have been greatly influential to alot of early 90's punk bands. They played in the hardcore scene for quite some time, and had a less melodic sound as they did in their latter years. They are Punk Rock, Hardcore, or even Pop Punk. I like more of their melodic stuff, and I can't stand their reformed band "ALL". Victory records. Ew. Propaganghi is "progressive" Punk. They have alot of metal and ska influence. For me, Propagandhi is at their best with strong ska influence (i.e. "f**k Religion) but I still like some of their more metal and punk rock sounding tunes (i.e. "Stick The f**king Flag up Your f**king Ass You Stupid Son of a Bitch") |
