help with brushes, my brush is rotating =[ |

I'm trying to apply brushes to a banner but when I do it rotates each time. How can I get it to stop rotating? I'm using PSP X btw. and here are my settings if you need them: size:255 step:180 density:100 rotation:zero opacity:100 blend mode:normal stroke:wet look paint.
Thank you in advance  btw when I mean rotate i mean like this: lets say this was my brush: | it would go like this: / then like this:\ then like this: __ you know what I mean? |

How do you know if everything is normal?
