it's really wierd. when i sit down like two legs in front of you. my theighs are like fat & wide. it's wierd. i'm not fat. i'm not that skinny. how do i tone it or lose some weight?

What hixfive said, they're called wall sits. You put your back against the wall and act like you're sitting on a chair with only your back as support against the wall with your legs shoulder width apart in front of you. You should try that and pace yourself. Your thighs will begin to burn so try doing it for 30 seconds then add more time. It really works it out but also creates soreness the next day. We do it in soccer all the time. It really helps build/tone muscle.
Another exercise you could try are lunges. You put one leg up in front of you and the other is nearly touching the floor. Then you get up and do the same with your other leg leading. I don't really know how to explain it. You're basically doing a stationary lunge. You keep doing this moving forward and alternating legs with a pause standing up in between switches of the leading leg. This is also a good exercise to tone thigh and butt muscles. I'm a soccer player and I have pretty toned thighs and even they expand when I sit down. Don't sweat it. Just try those exercises and I warn you that you will feel some soreness, but more so with the lunges in the buttocks area, but beauty can be painful! |
