On Yahoo! today they were advertising Pinks new video for her song "stupid girls" and I wanted to see who had seen and it what y'all thought about it. ANYWAY~~ I think its hilarious. but it says some things too. Its making un of all your Lindsay Lohans, Jessica Simpsons and Paris Hiltons. and It really says a lot about being a female in this society, while still poking fun of what we see in the media. I think its great. Discuss. And someone tell me if I can link to it, because I will if I'm allowed to. |

^ maybe watch it all and it might sink in. Pink is not attacking anorexia or belemia- Just trying to demonstrate that fans will emulate what they see, and there can be pressure to be a cookie-cutter image of someone you admire.. As you said, it is a mere *poke* at society.
I do think the video concept is better then the song lyrics itself though. |
