On Yahoo! today they were advertising Pinks new video for her song "stupid girls" and I wanted to see who had seen and it what y'all thought about it. ANYWAY~~ I think its hilarious. but it says some things too. Its making un of all your Lindsay Lohans, Jessica Simpsons and Paris Hiltons. and It really says a lot about being a female in this society, while still poking fun of what we see in the media. I think its great. Discuss. And someone tell me if I can link to it, because I will if I'm allowed to. |

Ok, so I'm slow - but I just caught this video. Anyone who protests or gets remotely pissy about it needs to seriously have a drink, and settle down.
I'm not necessarily someone who buys Pink's music. Having said that, however, I've always appreciated her spirit and tenacity. This is a great video. Period. And I don't think that the she is criticizing certain celebrities per se, but she is criticizing their actions. |
