help with layout navi and top image Options

heya

I wanted to use a layout like this and tried it on my lj but it didnt work ... I tried it 3 days but nothing changed I just had this result ....I dont know what to do ..I tried many things from this forum but aaarrg nothing helped

hey all, yea it says newbie on my info here and it means it. i used to be really awesome at this stuff but...ya know how that goes. anyway, i absolutely love the butterfly layout, however, i too am having some trouble getting my ovverrides right. at first, all my text was just fine, just no header butterfly image or anything. i read the posts, fixed my website url, and tried again. now it looks just like the preview screen for the layout, just nothing to do with me, and my posts arent there either. what am i doing wrong? can someone help me?
