So I get this phone call from this girl who I used to be uber-close with. I stopped talking to her almost three months ago. She's been texting me and poking around here trying to see what I'm up to. I stopped talking to her because she just uses me as a personal therapist and I was tired of hearing all of her crap and then when I would tell her something she'd blow me off. So she had this huge issue with me when I stopped taking her calls every day (I'd take her calls once every three days). She became really upset and so I brought up the fact that she didn't call me for three months when she went to Europe, she became really silent when I brought that up. So after I've nearly forgotten with her she randomly calls me at 10:51 PM and acts completely normal (as if I've been in close contact with her). And she says that if I'm not busy she has lots of stories. I tell her I am. And she acts all hurt and I hang up. I don't really understand why she's so obsessed with me if she thinks I'm not good enough for her and that she could have millions of friends like me. The thing is that I've established that our relationship was over. But there we go, my WTF phone call.
Have you ever had a random phone call from someone and afterwards was like, "WTF?!" |

QUOTE(incoherent @ Feb 14 2006, 9:35 PM) i think thats why people get confused because sometimes people have the same number with just a different area code. its kind of weird how it works, so i dont know. what if you lived in a place where someone in one area code had the number 499-4432 and then someone in a different area code had the same number, but you were able to call both without dialing the area code, who would answer? but don't you have to dial the area code anyway? i thought this was in effect for a few years now...or maybe it's a new york thing. i never get telemarketers on my cell phone or my home phone. but on my old cell, i used to get calls from people from different states. maybe the just mixed up the numbers or the order of the number. i also used to get calls in some weird language i've never heard of before...that weird man called me a few times and it scared me ![]() |
