As far as I know, Createblog’s membership was meant to increase population of activeness to this community. Are we receiving eligible and appropriate loyal members in the following past months, I don’t think so? How many official members are there with less than 5ppd? Are the moderators doing their job effectively to catch them? Who knows? Let’s make things easier for everyone to detected membership. It’s time to pull everything together and enforce official members/designers Why? It’s way too easy to fool the moderators about the membership. When members became accepted as official members or official designers, they can secretly removed the Createblog blogring, take out the buttons, and become less active but still have the membership benefits. Can we call them loyal? Are they helping us to receive more createblog members? Do the moderators even know about it? Maybe? Guess what, I spotted official members who did not have 5ppds or a buttons label on their site. What can we do about it? I suggest all official members and designers should have their names be organized as list with their website links in a thread, of course. When members are like us are bored, we can just view their website to check on them. If we discover something against the membership, we personal message the moderators to demote them, right? Also, it can give official designers an inspiration by viewing websites.

Like everyone else said, official membership doesn't really benefit much to a lot of people. i'm an official member and none of those xanga "benefits" work for me.
So why am I still an official member? I have no clue. maybe it's to be recognized as not just an ordinary member who comes along every month or so, but the fact that i contributed to this forum. honestly, my ppd is dropping, but being an official member is inspiring me to get my ppd back up. and maybe we should have another way of "advertising" createblog rather than a small button that no one clicks on anyways. my close friends are the only ones who read my xanga, and to be honest i odn't want them to read posts here. and maybe you can keep "tabs" on people, but i don't think people would want others to "check up" on them; i certainly don't. and aren't there checks anyways? |
