Hi I've tried searching the code for the border but i just can find it and the search engine doesn't work for me.

Instead of border: 1px solid #000000; like you usually have, you can use border-left: 1px solid #000000;, border-right: 1px solid #000000;, border-top: 1px solid #000000;, or border-bottom: 1px solid #000000; depending on what side you want the border on.
