hello people. today is random day.
there are quite a few ways to open an envelope. some are: you can tear it open at the top. you can peel up the flap. you can tear it open at the bottom. you can tear it open at the side. you can tear it in half. you can never get mail and thus never have to open an envelope. now, there are many advantagest to each method. let's go over them. you can tear it open at the top. the top is where you put letters in, so it makes sense for this to be the place to tear open the envelope. it make putting the letter back in the envelope quite easy, and preserves most the information on the envelope. However, it is a long way to tear, and if you don't have a letter opener, you have to use your finger, or tear off the edge. you can peel up the flap again, the top is where you put letters in, so it makes sense. a lot fo the same benifits of tearing it open at the top, except the flap can be folded over. quite nice, except if the envelope is sealed, then it's hard to do. you can tear it open at the side. this one's my personal favorite. you just tear down the left side of the envelope. the letter slides right out. the packet is deeper than it is wide, so it's harder for the letter to fall out. However, it's a bit harder to put letters back in as well. you have to tear off the edge, and if you tear off too much, you could take off part of the return adress, which isn't good. but it's a short way to tear. It's overall quite efficient and useful. you can tear it in half this one's a bit harder to pull off. you have to tear it down the middle without harming the ltter, which is quite hard. and if you do suceed, you've torn the adress in half. and now you don't have an envelope to put the letter back into. generally, it's quite useless. in fact, i don't even know why anyone would use this to open a letter. you could not get mail easily the most practical o fthem all, it's quite boring. so; now that you all know about a few of the ways to open an envelope. others i have not covered include disolving the envelope or making a slit in the front middle of the envelope. these are a bit less common however, and are not gone over in depth. be creative with oyur envelope opening endevours. you will find that getting mail is much more enjoyable and fun, and you can easily identify who opened the mail. ih8skol if you need to, you can get a nice set of white standard envelopes. put a piece of blank paper in each one, and practice opening with different methods untill you find one that suits you. hasta la vista, baby. (what's your favorite way?) |

I guess I prefer opening the flap.
Sometimes when the envelope is sealed too tight, then the flap will break apart. |
