Okii, so, I recently met my boyfriend online, and for one thing, my Mom thinks that meeting anyone on the internet automatically means that you're going to die and they're a pedophile. I found out a lot about him before I even told him my name. But thats beside the point! So my Mom doesn't know about him, yet, but I was asking her the other day how old she thought you had to be to experience true love. She said you had to be a LOT older than I am. That I wasn't even old enough to experience puppy love yet. I said whatever and asked my Grandma, whom said the same thing. She said you have to at least be in your like 20s. --;; I don't think it matters how old you are as long as you're in love. I feel things for him that I never imagined feeling for anyone else. So my question is, how old do YOU think you need to be to be in true love? Do you think that meeting on the internet automatically means you're going to die? xD ((btw, I'm 13. n.n)) + + + ♥ ♥ ♥ |

I don't mean to be harsh, but you say that now that you'll do anything for him. But, when the time comes, will you really? What if he told you to drop whatever you were doing and go out to visit him? Would you be able to do that without any hesitation? You say it's an online relationship, so where do you both live? If he asked, would you buy a ticket and go out to meet him, at any time? (And, assuming he's not a pedophile)
Frankly, I think you're too young to know what true love is. Everyone thinks that what they have is true love, but when it comes down to it, it may just be lust or love, but not true love. Sure, people say that love knows no age, but I think you need to be mature to be able to understand everything about it. And, at 13, you still have so much more to learn. In response to your second question, I don't neccesarily believe that meeting online means you're going to die. I guess it also depends on how you two met online. But, if you trust the other person enough, have shared pictures, talked on the phone and everything that they say check out, you should meet up, preferably in a safe area with lots of people in case he isn't so trustworthy. However, it is real easy to lie online about yourself so you should be careful. |

If i told you that he would die for you.. Would you believe it automatically, or would you hesistate? i think that is the better question. true love, in my opinion, is when you have full faith in your...partner. |
