I was listening to this annoying little sound outside my window. Finally, I tear myself away from the computer screen to look outside and maybe see what it was. My breath caught--the sky was blue, the ground was lit by sunshine. a beautiful day. I went to the window and I realized the sound was a handsome cardinal chirping away in my neighbors bush.
That sound was suddenly the most beautiful in the world. Eager for winter to be over? OMG! I just heard another one! |

In the summer those damned birds would wake me up at like 8 in the morning when i didn't need to be woken up at 8 in the morning.
