Now the belongings of Subhash Bose were much more than the 11 kilograms that finally reached Rehman and Murthy. According to Samar Guha, 90% of the treasure had gone missing. And the more valuable treasure-personal belongings like his wristwatch, pocket watch, a copy of the Gita-were never found. A rectangular wristwatch, that Nehru gave Sarat Chandra Bose on the supposition that it was Bose's, was later confirmed a counterfeit. Because, according to S. Kundan Singh, a close companion, Bose used to wear a round wristwatch.
