So I get to school today, and a lot of people are leaving to go to somebody's house and a bunch of people have really disturbed looks on their faces. Later, I hear what happened.
Yesterday, a girl at my school got out early for work release, went home, and finds her mother in a pool of blood with gunshot wounds all over her chest and head, and also finds her father lifeless in the basement. Apparently, the couple was going through a divorce at the time, and it looks like they got into an arguement and the father shot and killed his wife, and then committer suicide. Can you even imagine coming home to this? And the girl was an only child. It's things like this that just make you sick at your stomach with the thought that you could have come home to the same thing. Oops, I meant to post this in The Lounge. |

If I were in that situation, I would be scarred for life. The parents don't realize the huge effect of their actions... I feel sorry for the mother who fell victim to the father, since he did shoot her, but more sorry for the girl. I don't know what I would've done.
