how do you prepare for a big run?
like what do you eat or how do you do your stretches? i have the mile tomorrow first thing in the morning, and i'm not sure what to do before it. oh it was a timed mile at school, forgot to mention that.. a regular mile is fine with me |

i usually run a 3 or 4 miles each day during track butttt..
do NOT eat anything right before. if youve got gym first hour, you may wanna think about taking your breakfast to school and eating it after you run. the food thats in your stomach that hasnt been digested will keep bouncing around and youll either A) get cramps on your sides B) feel dizzy C) feel like you need to throw up or D)faint. keep in mind that youll probably be sore the next day unless youve been doing physical activity days before and following it. the soreness should only last for a few days. remember to pace yourself. if you try to sprint the whole thing, you may tear a muscle or end up getting tired a lot faster. take some bottled water with you. its good to drink water right after. make sure to stretchhhhh. or you may tear a muscle. |
