A lot of people know how to grab canvas colors with the eyedropper tool in Photoshop. But did you know you can get any color on the screen with the eyedropper tool, even if it's not part of a Photoshop image? Yep, it's possible, and here is a link to a movie that explains how to do it in the OS X version of Photoshop:

Yes, because in Windows, the application has a grey background, so you can't see through to windows that are behind Photoshop.
Maybe if you make the Photoshop window smaller, it'd work. I haven't tried it, because I don't have any Windows machines handy on which to test it. |

Yeah, I noticed this when I was using Photoshop on my boyfriend's iBook a while ago.. I tried it on my PC and it didn't work, even if I made the window small so I could see the desktop. |
