I think it's really all up to the situation. Some religions require that marriage and sex be earlier in life, and that's fine with me. If it's what they believe in, and what works for them, go ahead.
Otherwise, in cultures like the United States where there are over 100,000 abortions per day from teens, you'd think that for the people who made the choice to have sex underage, they didn't think about it before hand. I'd have to say it is wrong. To make a choice to have sex is a choice that changes your life. The outcome to underage sex could lead to a loss of respect, a child, an STD, anything, really. Teens aren't old enough to make the decision to have sex, yet. They're way too influenced by the media which isn't making too good of an impression, dare I say. But, it's all up to the person. If someone feels like they're ready, go ahead. They just better be ready for the consequences. |
