Well, Samurai X is the first version of Rurouni Kenshin, which is also more bloody and violent. Rurouni Kenshin is the one where Kenshin doesn't kill.

Kenshin, I read the first manga and it wasn't to interesting, but I actualy read kenshin, so yeah.
