my DVD is scratched, any ideas? |

My favorite DVD got scratched. So far, I've tried Windex and a paper towel and toothpaste and a toothbrush (someone said it worked!) my mom bought me a CD cleaner for Christmas but she had no clue what she was buying (I have to walk her through copy and pasting things on the comp!?!)
I was wondering if anyone had found something that worked to "fix" the scratches. BTW, they are big scratches just enough to stop it from playing on my labtop. They aren't grooves or anything crazy. |

when my dvds are scratched, i use rubbing alcohol. it doesnt get rid of the scratches but the dvd ends up working like its brand new. but idk, it works for me.
