My favorite DVD got scratched. So far, I've tried Windex and a paper towel and toothpaste and a toothbrush (someone said it worked!) my mom bought me a CD cleaner for Christmas but she had no clue what she was buying (I have to walk her through copy and pasting things on the comp!?!)

I was wondering if anyone had found something that worked to "fix" the scratches.

BTW, they are big scratches just enough to stop it from playing on my labtop. They aren't grooves or anything crazy.

Oh my god. Toothpaste and toothbrush! AND PAPER TOWELS!?
Do you not understand how sensitive amnd prone the back of dvd and cd's are to scratching? By using something with a rough texure and surface, you just killed itmore. Tell me who told you about the toothbrush thing, so I can kick them.

Also, there is no way tog et scratches out fully. There was a method though, using some kind of scratch cleaner that people said worked. Their testimonial was that they had a copy of ff7 thats been f**ked up. Since they got it when it first cameout, it didn't even work. But they used the cleaner, and it worked again.
