Just recently, a 14-year-old boy in my town was run over by a car while skateboaring and was killed. I personally didn't know him, but I know of the agony and hurt that his family, friends, and classmates had to suffer through.
I personally haven't really lost anyone dearly close to me except for one. And you know, while you may be sad for awhile, and even feel angry (like I hadn't been very close to her in the couple years before she passed), you can't let it bring you down. Do you think that the person who passed would want you to be depressed because of them? Of course not. And while you should never forget them, you just need to move on and live the life that you still have. "Better by far you should forget and smile Than that you should remember and be sad." |
