find stationary points.... f'(x)=0 determine nature use f"(x) equation and sub in the x values for the stationary points f"(x)<0 concave up f"(x)>0 concave down this is the fast way... your teacher may want the box test for points of inflection make the f"(x)=0 and find x values... |
