CHEM:
TRICLINIC CRYSTAL SYSTEMS: axinite What type of substances is axinite found in? What are the current/possible economic values of axinite? Explain possible uses of axinite, ie. ![]() help CALC: f(-5)=4; f(0)=0; f(5)=-4 f'(-5)=f'(0)=f'(5)=0; f'(x)>0 if |x|>5; f'(x)<0 if 0<|x|<5 how would you graph that? so we have points (-5,4), (0,0), and (5, -4) what would you do about the derivatives? where does it concave up/down and how can you tell? |

The color, hardness and clarity of axinite crystals make it a quality gemstone as it is able to be cut/faceted for use in jewelry settings. It is also used in the metaphysical community to facilitate change and healing processes although I cannot cite specifics. Try a Google search for metaphysical properties of axinite.
Axinite is found in silicate rocks and druze granite formations. In the US, it is mined in PA and CA. |
