I have been looking into modern satanism. I liked alot of it, and I am concidering converting. I went to the school councler and a friend came along for "emotional support" aka: ditch math class, and when I explained it too the councler, she says she was worried because she belives in it too. I was like wtf....you just heard about it? I am a terrible explainer, and I feel like she is only doing it to copy me. She said at lunch, that WE don't really know what it is about. I told her YOU don't know what it is about, and got mad. I feel bad about feeling so bad, I just don't like how she decided to convert without even reading about it. Do I have the right to be mad? 0.o
BTW: Modern satanism is not like traditional, traditional is more evil cultish, I don't actually belive in satan.

If they want to dive headfirst into something as important as a belief system then let them. You can stand and know that you have a true interest in it and aren't doing it to be "cool" or "unique" or to be "rebelious". What you can do however is start educating you and your friend in satanism. After a time if he/she is truly interested he/she will stick through it and go on with you. But if he/she is as I'm seeing, a follower, they'll lose interest soon. |
