So me and my girlfriend broke up about a year ago and I still do kinda of like her sometimes and sometime I feel like I'm over her. The problem is that she hurt me so bad, I don't know how to talk to a girl I like anymore, and sometimes my ex writes comments on myspace or xanga and I just can't help it but keep reading it every five minutes, even though she hates me, I don't know what to do anymore, i dont know how to talk to a girl I like nor what to do with my ex

Well I was in a similar situation last year when my first real bf broke up with me. He hurt me, and broke my heart for the first time, and I just didn't know how to deal. I didn't want to associate with any guys in any way...so I was really "anti-guys" for a while, especially anything to do with liking guys. But eventually, I learned to like guys again, and I learned to trust them, and I learned to get over him. As a matter of fact, I have a bf right now, and even though I know we won't last forever and ever, I'm still happy with him.

What you have to do is get over your gf first. Cutting all contacts with her helps. Then...just let things sit as they are for a while, and then eventually you will find yourself able to talk to girls again. I think you're still not over the fact that your gf hurt you, and in your mind, you think that ALL girls are like your gf and will end up hurting you. That's just not true. get over your gf and your insecurity around trusting girls.

Just think of it this way: you wouldn't stop stop eating your favourite candy just because it made you sick once...you may stop eating it for a while after you got sick...but eventually you'll start eating it again, and this is just like dealing with love, relationships and breakups. Eventually you'll get over it, and like it again. Just give it some time.
