One of the Hindi stories of creation has the god Vishnu sleeping on an eternally long snake, dreaming the world into existence. But what happens, as the thought occurred to me, when he wakes up?

Those are such interesting stories.... It's a lot more settling compared to the Christian apocalyptic interpretations.
If this is someone's dream, I wouldn't mind it if he slept for a while. When he wakes up? Well... We'll figure that out when the time comes
