I had an idea for a website I'm creating but I need an explaination on how to do it. I believe it involves a php file but I don't have the slightest clue how to begin.
I want a site that has an iframe, or a div layer with text inside. And below it I want a textbox and a submit button. I would like to set it up so that any person visiting my site can post onto the page. I don't need any restrictiong on html or anything I just need it so that when a person hits submit it sends what is in the text box into the iframe/div layer above. I hope someone understands what I'm saying. It's kind of like a guestbook I guess you'd say but I want to code it myself. I own a server so I can host any files I just need to know where to begin. Help is greatly appreciated. |
