Nas- One Mic
One Mic, one of the best songs Nas has ever put out. Being a Nan fan in '99 and '00 was hard with him selling out and such. Then Jay-Z dissed him to bring back the king that is Nas. He annihilates Jay-Z on Ether and puts out One Mic just to tell everyone the king is muthafucking back. 3 verses all with different meanings. The first verse is his trademark, street poetry. The second verse is about him selling out with a beautiful metaphor here. QUOTE "Jesus died at age 33, there's thirty-three shots
from twin glocks there's sixteen apiece, that's thirty-two Which means, one of my guns was holdin 17 Twenty-seven hit your crew, six went into you". |
