Ok so im looking to buy another hard drive, i have an older system, so i need an IDE type. the problem is, is that i really cant find any. tiger direct really dont have anything in my price range. but newegg kinda did, i just want like a 120GB IDE HD, i dont care if its ultra. but try to keep it between 50-75 tops. any help would be cool. also if someone could explain the difference between ATA, SATA, IDE....any help is greatlyyy appreciated!

ATA was the old name before SATA came around. When SATA was released, they renamed the old standard to PATA.
Another term you might year is UDMA. It's the same as ATA and IDE. |
