For everybody it's different. It depends how close and comforatble you are with your mom. I have friends whos parents know. But personally. I'm 19 years old and my mom still doesnt know that Im not a virgin, and I wouldnt dare tell her. If you are concerned for any reason, you should go to planned parenthood. www.plannedparenthood.org they are very helpful and everything is confidential. They are really nice really helpful, they do all kinds of testing and its pretty reasonable, if not free depending on your financial situation.
