Switching schools?, have you had too? did it suck? Options

ya well I JUST started going to school this year (I homeschooled before) and I looove it, and I made a bunch of friends, and I love the school blah blah blah. And then this stupid idiot has to come in and make a school RIGHT next ot my house so now my mom's all like "OMG I DON'T HAVE TO DRIVE YOU ANYMORE THIS'LL BE GREAT" ya, really. wonderful.

So bassically now I have to switch school's, and I'm soo mad about it, I even cried in front of my mom but she's like "don't worry you'll make new friends". I don't care wether I make new friends or not, I'll never see the ones I jsut made...it'll be annyoing, like all the friends I made in grade 2, I contact them every so often but it's a bother but I don't want to lose them so ya...it'll be like that. sept I'll have waaay more friends that I never see I DON'T WANT TO SWITCH SCHOOLS

I'm changing schools in the beginning of February. It's going to be a whole new experience for me. I'm coming from a public into a private/charter. Things are much more strict there, but it'll be okay. I made the decision to change schools, the thing is, I can't learn in the environment I am in now, I have too many friends and nobodies there to stop me from talking so much, all the talking is restricting me from learning what I need to learn. My school hours change from 8AM-3PM, but now it's 8AM-5PM. It's longer school hours and I get loads of homework.
There are uniforms and I'm not really used to that. I have to dress in khakis and white collar shirts. Though I'm not sure I can buy different types of white collar shirts, like ones with designs, so far I only have regular/plain ones.
On Friday's I can go back to my previous, public school and do my homework there so there isn't much of a "missing-my-friends" problem for me.
