Alright. I've noticed a change in one of my closest friends. He lost his mom about two months ago, and ever since he's been the same person, but he's completely abandoned his morals.

He's started smoking cigarettes, he's been having more than a few drinks, and earlier today, he was talking about scoring some weed.

I finally figured out that this may have something to do with his mother passing, but now I'm stuck.

What can I do? What should I do?

Well, I got him to abandon his weed ambitions, and he stopped smoking on his own accord. From what I know, he doesn't drink anymore either.

It's good hes done that. But you should have understood from the start, he wanted to be numb. He lost the person, most dear to him ( Im assuming ) in the world.

Just let him know youre there. For whatever and whenever. And you cant just say those words to him. You have to mean it. You have to really, really mean it with everything in you.
