Aye.
I was wondering who else plays Super Smash Brothers: Melee on cB. So, who plays? Do you play competive Melee? Are you in the tournament circuit? Who are your primary and secondary characters? Anyone in here a pro? I have been playing for some time, but I just recently got very interested in advanced techniques, play, and competive Melee. My main characters are: Peach. Marth. Fox. Ness. Ice Climbers. This is probably one of my favorite games of all time. Absolute love for this game. |

I'm one of those types who goes to tournaments for this game and come home either 1st or 2nd place... But yeah.. I can use every character very well actually
For practice I get 1 character and do 3on1 lvl 9 computers.. and me being the one I learn to catch on quick with the char |

But I think it's more helpful to play against one good human (unless you're playing exclusively 4 player matches). The AI ain't half bad though. Of course, nothing beats playing with friends who are skilled. You get good feedback in the form of trash talking, plus it's fun to trash talk as well. If you play with a variety of people, you get exposed to real people's strategies too. I've never played "competively" so to speak, but I did beat everyone in my physics class last year ![]() |
