gym and eating., which should i do first?

I go to the gym as much as i can but the thing is going to the gym fits around the time dinner does. So what should i do first should i eat dinner and wait an hour to go to the gym or should i go to the gym first then eat when i come home?

i always ask myself this so what should i do first?

If you're fat or normal weight. Eat dinner before workout.
If you're skinny and want to gain weight and muscle, eat dinner after workout.
