i've had dandruff since i was a little kid [it even got super super severe at one point to where i was bleeding]. dandruff isnt all that rare and its usually caused by chemicals products used on hair, genetics, and/or oily scalp [rarely dry scalp]. so if you dye your hair a lot or get it permed, you might wanna stop.
what i did to get rid of mine is just completely stop touching it. i dont scratch it, brush it with a comb, or anything. not even in the shower. in the shower i use head and shoulders but i dont scratch my scalp with pressure. just light circular rubs with the tip of my fingers around my scalp. instead of brushing with combs against my scalp, i use my fingers and try avoiding rubbing my scalp. dandruf shampoo alone wont do much for your hair. even right after you get out of the showers or when it dries you're able to instantly see the flakes come back. just try to avoid touching your scalp at all times. i rarely see flakes in my hair anymore but i still dont really touch my scalp and i still use head & shoulders |
