There are so many expectations. Taking care of the family, being "the man"..or w/e. If you don't make good money you're considored unsuccessful. If you cry you get made fun of. Your guy friends think you're a wuss if you show too much affection to your girlfriend. If you're not a sex hound your friends think your homo. If you hit a girl you're considored morally corrupt etc. As for girls, we have the periods, the labour, the trying to be pretty, try to by lady-like, can't be whiny, can't buy alot of things or we're considored gold diggers, if we're not virgins we "must" be sluts, if we have a bit of baby fat we're "overweight" ,,if we're a little over skinny we're "anorexic".... the list just goes on and on. I'm happy with being a girl. |
