when you get on birth contol wut do you have to do?

You will have to have a pap smear first. If all goes well, your ObGyn can prescribe you bc. You really should do some research before though. There's several different types of bc. And if you smoke or drink, you need to take that into consideration as well. Also, if you're not good at taking medication on a regular schedule, you might want to consider Depo Provera. Oh and the HMO/IPA analyst in me says to make sure you find out what your benefits are beforehand.

Anyway, after you and your doctor decide which type of BC is right for you, you take it once and day, at the same time. If you skip 1 day, it is okay to double up on the next. Any more than that, it is unsafe and makes you feel like shit if you take more than two. |
