this is great news !! i always believed that royce da 5'9 had great crossover potential, he has the voice, delivery, flow, hooks, image, and definately the lyrics to appeal to mainstream fans.

royce da 5'9 - best rapper alive (mp3)

now my question. who do you think has more potential to sell records, Joe Budden or Royce Da 5'9 or Memphis Bleek?

Oh damn. Thats tough.

I think it'll be a close tie between Joe and Royce.

Joe has already released a public debut and he has a cultlike underground following (like yourself... and I might still listen to MM2). The people who liked his lame commercial debut will cop is sophomore effort regardless. And you know if his sophomore debut lives up to the underground hype, he'll sell albums like crack.

Royce is just a smooth type dude. What else can I say? He's so terribly underrated. And with half of Detroit riding the dicks of D12, he has been overshadowed ever since him and Em (then Proof) had that falling out. However, although the beef isn't public, its far from done. You know how haters get; jealous. Royce will start getting some spotlight, diss tracks will be released and all of a sudden its SHADY/AFTERMATH/G-UNIT Vs. Royce... and the entire public will buy into it. That sells records (unforunately).

Bleek. Ehhh. 'M.A.D.E.' was nice but 534 was... not. I'm not sure, honestly. MADE didn't sell so he switched his style up and did that club shit for 534 and that didn't sell. We'll see.
