Ok so I like this guy and we have been friends for awhile and so I just called him one night and told him that I liked him, and after I said I liked him he said "Really? Are you serious? Well I dont know what to say... Ok bye." and then he just hung up. What do you think this means? I mean what should I do? Should I just not mention it and wait for him to say something or ask him again or something. Im really confused because I have no idea what he thinks

It sounds like you're the first person who ever told him anything like that. Given the fact that he hung up, I'm guessing he's in his early teens and is lacking experience when it comes to dating/romantic relationships. As a male, I think i_liek_sushi's response, while blunt, is accurate.
