i've been trying to read up on the code differences between livejournal and greatest journal on these forums.. and everyone says that the gj override codes are based off of lj's, and that something written for lj will work for gj. buuttt. i found a layout that i really... really love.
this one http://www.createblog.com/skins/preview.php?id=3702 the code is here http://www.createblog.com/skins/download.php?id=3702 and it will not work no matter what i do. i don't want to alter the code, because that's... just not cool, but i have tried everything i can think of to get it to work. could someone who is more familiar with greatestjournal's override coding please let me know what i need to change? because i'm sure there's something there that's not right for gj. i think it's the LASTN_WEBSITE, DAY_WEBSITE, etc etc etc... but the link to all the developer override codes doesn't work on gj. the only parts that work is.. the background.. and the text/link colors, and the blog part is aligned correctly. but the sidebar won't work and the header image won't load. and i am so confused. |

...except that i didn't put a website in my profile and once i did, it worked. NEVERMIND! i feel dumb now. i guess i didn't try everything i could think of. sorry. ^^
