Alright. I've noticed a change in one of my closest friends. He lost his mom about two months ago, and ever since he's been the same person, but he's completely abandoned his morals.
He's started smoking cigarettes, he's been having more than a few drinks, and earlier today, he was talking about scoring some weed. I finally figured out that this may have something to do with his mother passing, but now I'm stuck. What can I do? What should I do? |

QUOTE(SSJ Kenshin @ Jan 18 2006, 6:39 PM) Alright. I've noticed a change in one of my closest friends. Tell him straight up that you've noticed some changes in his behaviors and say what they are. Ask him why he's doing those things. If he doesn't give you an answer, don't push. If he does, the most helpful thing you can do is listen. Above all else, be his friend. If he starts doing stuff you don't want to, just bail and say you're not into it. Be supportive without compromising your values. |
