Coming from a personal expereince itself. First Loves are truly hard to forget. No matter what that person will be take residence in your heart in someway. But often they are on your mind. First thought when you wake up and the last one before you sleep. No matter how many males or females you begin to date or know...they will always be there. Lingering memories that seem to fade but are still there.

You know sometimes it's hard to figure out if it's LUST or love...if you're really in love. And I knew for the two other guys it wasn't exactly lust, because for me, when I start to like and then love someone...it's hard to stop. It's like, you'll never truly forget what you had with them, you know?
But right now, I know I'm in love with him. I care about him so much, when I see him cry for anything (especially for me) I just want to cry. When he smilies, no matter how crappy I feel, I smile genuinely. I know if anything happens between us (we're going through really bad times right now) that I'll never EVER forget him or stop loving him one way or another. I know if I really really have to let him go one day...I would never really "get over" him. You can never get over someone you love, you can only move on. Love is when...looks don't matter; when the heart and personality and care is all that matters. All what's inside. Love is not just butterflies in your stomach or your heart beating faster. Love is when you see it in their eyes, love is when you want them to be happy more than yourself. Love is when they're in your mind every single second...literally. I mean, it's first love, isn't it? It's your first time realizing what love really is...so it would be the most unforgettable experience and the biggest change in your life. |
